To request a copy of an incident report, the District prefers that all requests be made in writing. Your request should include, to the extent known, the date, time, and address of the incident, the incident number (if available), your relationship to the incident (if any), and your contact information.
In accordance with the CPRA, the District will review your request and respond within the timeframes established by law. Records will be provided upon completion of any pending investigations or inspections, and subject to applicable exemptions or required approvals for release.
Written requests may be submitted by mail, fax, e-mail, or in person at the address listed above. Once the District receives your request, we will look for responsive records and send you an invoice based on the amount of pages. The fee is $0.25 per page. After the District receives payment, we will send the requested records.
