About the District

The Lathrop Manteca Fire District is an independent special district serving communities within San Joaquin County. The District was established to provide dedicated fire protection, emergency medical response, rescue, and other emergency services to the communities we serve.

As an independent special district, LMFD is a form of local government focused specifically on providing fire and emergency services. This structure allows the District to remain responsive to the needs of our community while providing local accountability through an elected Board of Directors.

Our commitment is simple: to provide professional, compassionate, and dependable emergency services while remaining accountable to the community we serve.
