High Fire Danger

High When the fire danger is "high", fires can start easily from most causes and small fuels (such as grasses and needles) will ignite readily. Unattended campfires and brush fires are likely to escape. Fires will spread easily, with some areas of high-intensity burning on slopes or concentrated fuels. Fires can become serious and difficult to control unless they are put out while they are still small. Mowing or edging generally be done in the morning. Mowing, edging, or clearing dead vegetation should be limited to the morning hours. Having a nearby source of water may be helpful.

The Lathrop Manteca Fire District's Administration Office's are located with Fire Station 35. The Administrative Office houses the support staff for the Fire Districts operation. It includes the Office of the Fire Chief, Division Chief, the Prevention Bureau, the finance office, and human resources. The daily business functions of the fire district happen mainly at this address.
