Director Gloryanna Rhodes

Director Gloryanna Rhodes has been a resident in Lathrop since her move here in 1983. She has served as a long standing elected official in the city with terms as Councilwoman and Mayor. During her time on the Council and as Mayor, Gloryanna was instrumental in securing funding for specialized rescue equipment, maintaining staffing during an economically challenged time, and funding the LMFD's first dive & rescue boat. Gloryanna continues her service with the City of Lathrop as a member of the Planning Commission. Ironically, Gloryanna served in this same capacity on the city's first ever Planning Commission after its formation in 1989. Director Rhodes completed her Bachelors Degree from California State University Stanislaus and started her Graduate studies at the University of the Pacific in Stockton. Gloryanna and her husband still call Lathrop home, and continue their volunteer efforts throughout the City of Lathrop .
