High Fire Danger

High When the fire danger is "high", fires can start easily from most causes and small fuels (such as grasses and needles) will ignite readily. Unattended campfires and brush fires are likely to escape. Fires will spread easily, with some areas of high-intensity burning on slopes or concentrated fuels. Fires can become serious and difficult to control unless they are put out while they are still small. Mowing or edging generally be done in the morning. Mowing, edging, or clearing dead vegetation should be limited to the morning hours. Having a nearby source of water may be helpful.

Director Jeremy Coe

Director Jeremy Coe lives in the unincorporated rural area known as the "New Haven" area east of Manteca. He has volunteered for the New Haven Elementary School's Parent Teacher Association, the Boy Scouts of America, and the serves on other boards for his community. Jeremy attended San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, CA. Director Coe has been a certified electrician and provides valuable insight when it comes to information and emerging technology. He was first elected to the Fire Board in 2016 and has served continuously since his election. Jeremy and his family enjoy the rural lifestyle of ranch livestock, horses, chickens, and many other farm animals.

Term is for January 2021 through December 2024
