Notice of Public Hearing - Ordinance Establishing and Adopting a Schedule of Fire District Services and Fees

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of the Lathrop-Manteca Fire Protection District is considering the adoption of an ordinance that would amend existing schedule of fees, and collections policies which are consistent with, and authorized by, the provision of Health & Safety Code section 13916 and other laws pertaining to fee schedules.

A public hearing on this matter will be held to review, explain, and allow for public input on the intended amendments.

SUMMARY AND PURPOSE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE 2022-01
Ordinance 2022-01, if adopted, would repeal Ordinance 2011-01 and establish an amended schedule of fees and collections policies which are consistent with, and authorized by, the provision of Health & Safety Code section 13916 and other laws pertaining to fee schedules. Pursuant to California law, the defined service fees shall not exceed the full cost of providing the service. If adopted, the proposed Ordinance would take effect on the 30th day following the publishing of the Ordinance after its adoption and following publication or posting of the adopted Ordinance.
