Fire Station 31 Remodel

Color rendering of a completed fire station 31

The Lathrop Manteca Fire District has began the remodel process for Fire Station 31 on J Street. Residents can expect to see construction progress starting today and we are super excited!

During the process we have made two key determinations. First, we moved the Truck 30 crew to Fire Station 34 temporarily during construction. We did this so that we did not incur additional expenses on temporary housing at the station 31 site. Second, we moved the on-duty Battalion Chief to the station 31 site in the old administrative portable so that we can still meet critical and time sensitive call needs. The Battalion Chief's vehicle carries essential life saving equipment like a defibrillator, CPR compression machine, and a full complement of medical gear. We will continue to monitor our critical call response times to ensure we still meet the communities expectations.

This remodel highlights that the LMFD is investing into each of our stations no matter old or new so that we can meet the emergency response needs to all our citizens served.
